Antwon Person

Antwon Person, a native of Boykins, Virginia, brings more than two decades of executive-level leadership experience from the Department of Defense and the private sector. A retired senior officer with 22 years of service in the United States Army, Antwon has led large diverse organizations where service, accountability, and long-term impact were critical priorities. Throughout his career, he has been recognized for turning complexity into clear plans, strengthening community partnerships, and delivering results. In addition to his military career, Antwon has been an entrepreneur since 2007 and has successfully started, scaled, and exited multiple businesses across several industries. Following his retirement, he founded Skillful Brands, a business consulting and technology firm focused on helping entrepreneurs simplify operations, build scalable, sustainable businesses. Antwon is deeply committed to servant leadership, mentorship, and community empowerment, with a particular focus on expanding access to business education and economic opportunities. He holds degrees and certifications from Virginia State University, Florida Institute of Technology, the Command and General Staff College, and Florida State University.
