Malayna Hasmanis

Born and raised in Charleston, South Carolina, Malayna Hasmanis serves in the education and nonprofit sector focusing on Oklahoma youth. Malayna pursued an undergraduate degree in Special Education prior to teaching abroad for several years in South Korea and Tanzania. While teaching abroad, Malayna earned two graduate degrees: one in Educational Leadership and another in Public Administration and Public Policy. She is currently earning her doctorate from Southern Nazarene University in Educational Leadership, where she also serves as an adjunct professor in their Graduate Studies program. Through a deep commitment and passion for empowering youth and achieving equitable opportunities for all, Malayna serves in her community in partnership with nonprofit organizations as a means to eliminate barriers and create access to resources and opportunities within the Tulsa community for all of its constituents.
